My story from start to finish!

CHAPTER 1 {electrocuted}

I duck behind a thick green bush as three men in dark blue uniforms pop out of a small clearing, and pull away my now dead father. It takes me a moment to realize that if I do not scream out to these men, that the flesh and body they are holding is the only person on the universe who knows who I am, and with out him I will just be stuck in this big forest all alone for...well...life! Knowing me, I do not jump up and say what I’m thinking. I just crouch in an uncomfortable position morning the death of my father, as I watch the men drag him away. I have not yet let my self go over how my dad has died because I want to put my full attention to it. So right now I’m almost as clueless as you are. I think it is time for me to go over how I got in these woods, and of course how my dad died. I will start with how I got in the forest. My mom, my dad, my baby sister Annabelle and I were taking a camping trip for my mom's birthday. We set up our big green tent. Suddenly, my mom's phone rang "ding!ding!" she picked it up, and answered it.  "Hello" she said. Even though the phone wasn't on speaker, I could hear the voice clearly"oh...well...hello. Have you ordered a ufo.”? Mom hung up the phone, fast. “Who was it?" I asked. "Oh...probably a pizza company." Mom answered. Suddenly the phone began to shake. My mom began to shake, Annabelle began to shake, and then I started to shake. I tried to steady my self but I just kept shaking. Finally I realized what was happening. The phone was electrocuting my mom! Her hand was clasped around Annabelle’s stroller handle which electrocuted Annabelle. My hand was wrapped around the handle too, which also electrocuted me. I pulled my hand away from the stroller and shoved it into my pocket. "Mom!" I screamed. I was going to tell her to drop the phone, but it was to late. My mom and my baby sister had been over come by electricity. I fell into a heap on the forest floor and I tried to cry, very hard, but nothing came out. Not one single tear. I heard a deep moan from behind me. My dad! My dad was still alive! Someone to hold the hand of! Someone to push me through this deep ditch of sadness. Suddenly I screamed "The Doctor! We need to call the Doctor!” We both saw a flicker of hope. I reached for Mom's phone, but dad stopped me "Don't go near that phone Saphire!"  "Fine." I said glumly and I ran for the car hoping to find a Doctor on the way home. Dad tried to start the car "It's out!" Dad grumbled. So For the next 5 days we lived in the big green tent. We lived off of berries and animals. One day Dad went hunting. And I stayed next to his side.  He would not trust me alone at the tent.  I heard something unfamiliar in my ear. I looked up at dad and said, "yes," thinking that he had said something to me.  He smiled at me and just kept walking.  I heard the unfamiliar sound again, but this time I heard that it was words.  It said, "Do not move or I will shoot." I realized something was pressed against my back.  I stopped dead still.  Dad could tell I stopped so he turned. ”Come o…oh” Dad said the last word quietly. “Saphire!” “Yes Dad.” I said in a shaky voice “RUN!” He didn’t have to tell me twice! I bolted to the farthest tree away from the strange men.  I don’t even know what the men looked like. I climbed up a willow in till I could see the top of most of the other trees in the forest. I could faintly hear voices down below “For many days, now, me and my pal have been watching you kill our animals for what you crazies call eats. Today I will make sure you never come back to our home again” A gun shot, a loud moan, a thump, and then and there I knew some where deep down in my hart that my dad was dead

CHAPTER 2  {creepy voices}

I climbed down from the willow tree and this time I found a way to cry. I was almost all the way down when my precious necklace with a tiny key and lock, that my mom had given me, for my 5th birthday. Got hooked on a tree. The branch beneath me broke and I was left hanging. I new I was taking in my last moments. I could not breath! The next thing I new I was on a dark cloud. Dark clouds hung above, and lightning burst out of them, but no rain. I heard thunder and realized the thunder was speaking to me. It said "I'm more powerful then you! I'm smarter than you! I'm stronger then you!" The voice did this over and over again. Finally I found myself back in the forest. I lay on the soft green grass. The branch I had been hanging on was on my face. It had broken off the tree. It was nighttime and I imagined I had been out for many hours. I went over to my dad. The men had gone by then. I cried a little. I was getting tired. I kissed dad on his nose. Grabbed his hand and fell a sleep beside him. The next morning I woke to soft murmuring. The first voice was unfamiliar but the second I did remember! HE HAD KILLED MY DAD! I ducked behind a thick green bush and watched three men in dark blue uniforms pull away my now dead father.

CHAPTER 3 {Madam Saphira}

So now you know how I got behind this bush. Now that I know the men are gone I turn around and make a decision to visit my sister and my mom. Dad had worked hard to make big deep holes for Mom and Annabelle to rest peacefully in. Dad had given me the honor to carve their tragic death stones. We were going to have a small service for them after dad finished digging Annabelle’s grave. Now there was no one to finish it except me. Since we did not have a shovel dad had dug with Mom’s strong bamboo hiking stick. There is only a little more to dig. I kneel down and begin. In a couple minutes the grave is done. Now, for the mentally hard part. I have to put my baby sister in the grave. When she was born, I had not one clue I would ever do this to her in my life. I cradle her in my arms, but keep my head far away from her. I really do not want to be holding my dead sisters body! But, I still want to handle her gently. I softly set down Annabelle into the hole, softly cover her, softly put her carved rock on her grave, and softly prey for her. I stand up and murmur, “My hart is broken… I have no one else to love.” “That is where you are wrong.” I whirl around. A tall women with a very large hoop skirt, that could fit over three tiny kids, stands before me. She has stunning white skin; her shiny brown is put tightly in a bun on the side of her head. Her voice is very strong  but, soothing too. She wares a thick black waistband. Tucked inside are three peacock feathers. All of her clothes look like they have been made out of beautiful fall leaves. “It is alright, she is safe.” The woman says. Three beautiful tiny girls come out from under her skirt. Other girls know this lady? I suddenly am very mad and annoyed. For the few seconds I have known this lady I’ve taken a strong liking to her, and I don’t want her to love, like or even know anyone in the whole world except me. “This is Comfort,” she points to the red haired girl. “This is Believe,” she points to the brown haired girl “and this is Kindness,” she points to the blond headed girl. “We call Believe, Bell” that makes me think of Annabelle which makes my eyes tear up. The girls are probably about four. They are all Identical besides their hair, and Comfort wares beautiful green glasses. They all ware spring like dresses made out of lime green cloth. Kindness speaks “Madam Saphira told us we could come along.” I say, “Who is Madam Saphira? The three girls point to the strange tall lady that I love so much. As they point I realize I’m not mad that they know this lady anymore in fact, for some reason I want them to like her. My thoughts are interrupted by “Yes. I’m Madam Saphira” I smile and say, “My name is Saphira too, but everyone, except my mom, calls me Saphire.” Madam Saphira just smiles. “Well, we better get going.” She announces boldly. Comfort, Kindness and Bell, all crawl back under her skirt “come on Saphire.” She slightly lifts the bottom of her skirt to indicate I should crawl under. Not wanting to see the lady’s bare legs and underwear, I say, “I’d rather walk, thank you.” She smiles and says, “You have to in order to get there. I’m sorry.” I crawl under, expecting to see nothing but darkness, legs and underwear. But, instead I see a blond kitten, a brown kitten and a red kitten playing in a huge prairie that looks like it goes on forever. It’s covered with blue and white flowers. Immediately I know the kittens are Bell, Comfort and Kindness.  I look down at my hands to see if I am a kitten too, but I am still human. I desperately wish to be a kitten. The next time I look at my hands they are tiny fluffy brown kitten paws. Since my hair is brown, I’m a brown kitten, but Bell is brown too. I strongly wish for a black ear and feet. The next thing I know, my wish has come true. I bound across the lushes green grass towards the other kittens. When I get to them, they meow cheerfully. Apparently in this little world under a skirt we don’t have to speak because we can read each other’s minds. The girls have started to talk to me as if we were old friends and they are not shy around me any more. What ever you ask your kitten-body to do, it can do. For instance, we are having a kitten talent show, I want to jump 20 ft. in the air and I can. The ground beneath us begins to shake. Madam Saphira’s voice booms in my ears. “Girls, we are home.”  Then everything stops. The three kittens turn them selves back into girls. I turn myself, back into my self again and ask, “How do we get out? It seems the sky and the grass go on for ever.” “Just follow us.” Bell answers. We walk half a mile and then suddenly I smack into something invisible. The girls giggle. “This way.” Comfort says. I had smacked into Madam Saphira’s skirt. All the girls have to crawl under it in order to get back into the real world. “That was really fun!” I say to Madam Saphira. She nods and says, “What do you think about this?”

CHAPTER 4 {a new home}

She motions to the world around me. I had been so caught up in the little kitten world that I had failed to notice the beautiful home I’d just stepped into. It looks nothing like any home I’ve ever seen. There is a huge pond with a great big waterfall. In the middle of the pond is a tiny island. On the island is a tiny lemonade stand, but instead of selling lemonade it sells big shells full of sand. Little black, orange and red snapping turtles live in the pond. The little shell stand makes the sand shells for the turtles to eat. In order to buy the shells the turtles have to give the person at the stand a shell with no sand. The pond leads into a small thin river that weaves around homes. The homes are very cool from the out side, but even cooler from the inside. The homes entrances look like very big rabbit holes and they are each at the foot of a tree. The stores entrances look almost exactly like the house entrances, except on the trees above the holes, have signs that have the name of the store on it. The most peculiar thing about this place is its people. So far I’ve seen fairies and pixies witch Madam Saphira says are completely different things, but I really don’t see the difference. “Fairies have wings.” She says, “Pixies don’t.” I notice there are no boy fairies or pixies. I ask “Where are all the boys?” she says “There is no such thing as boy fairies or pixies. All the boys are called minis.” She points to a cluster of tiny, tiny boys with no wings. They are about the same size as fairies. I also see two full grown giants, a baby giant, ten green Dachshunds, ten blue Dachshunds, an alien with fire coming out of him, and so much more. I notice there is only one other human besides me, Madam Saphira, Comfort, Kindness and Bell.

CHAPTER 5 {Ramona and a wand}

She stops right in front of me “Welcome to Honey Hill!” She says excitedly. “Thank you!” I say. She has dark black skin and chocolate brown hair and eyes. She is wearing the same dress as Kindness, Comfort and Bell. She smiles at me and says “I’m Ramona. Can I show you around?” “Sure!” I answer,  “I’m Saphire!” For some reason I’m so exited to play with this girl. She takes my hand and says, “There is a shop I really want you to see! Yoy!” She claps “Yoy?” I ask, “What dose that mean?” “It’s the word I use for all of my strong emotions. For instance I’m exited to be with you, so I say, yoy.” “ You say it for every emotion?” “Yoy.” She says “That also can means yes.” I look at her strangely. “In my defense,” She says “I made it up when I was 6.”  She stops in front of a hole at the foot of a tree. Pined to the tree, is a sign that reads “Wand Shop” “Well,” says Ramona “ What are you waiting for? Go in!” “I would if I could but I have never been in a shop where the entrance is a rabbit hole.” Ramona says, “Oh… well, I understand. Just follow me.” And she jumps down feet first into the hole.  I jump down too, and we both land onto a bouncy pink surface. We have entered a room lined with shelves. On the shelves are thousands of boxes. I reach into a beautiful orange box and pull out a wand. It is unlike the wands you see in fairy tales. It is a colorful stick. On top of the stick is a tiny little globe. Inside the globe is a very small mouse that is changing colors every minute. I immediately want it. I want it with all my hart. I want to free the mouse, and have it as my pet. I want to do spells with the wand. I ask, “What do you do with the wand any way?” Ramona says, “It’s used to fill your house with cool furniture and goodies” “How dose the wand work?” I ask, “It’s quite easy actually” Ramona says, “you just think of something you want, wave the wand, then it appears before you.” “Do you think I could have one?” I ask hopefully “Depends.” Says Ramona “First, you must get money from Madam Saphira, then you have to be 10 or up. “Well, I’m 11!” I scream happily. I hurry up to the counter. “I’m eleven!” I tell the half man half woman at the counter. I hand the box to it. “I’ll get some money!” Ramona screams excitedly. She runs over to the bouncy pink surface. Jumps up and down 5 times and some how shoots up through the rabbit hole. In a couple min. she is back with a hand full of green coins. She smacks them onto the desk. I crab the small orange box, run over to the pink surface, jump up and down three times, then shoot up towards the ground. I land on the beautiful green grass. I’m so exited to have a wand! I want to fill my house with a million beautiful pieces of furniture. That’s when I realize that I don’t have a house! “Ramona.” I say, “I don’t have a house!” “Oh, sure you do.” She says, and she points to a beautiful green tree and at the foot of it, a wide rabbit hole. I jump happily into the hole expecting a bouncy surface to cushion my fall but there is none. I fall butt first onto the beautiful comforting grass. That’s right, I said it. The ground of my home is big and grassy. I realize I have just fallen over 40 feet. I feel for scratches, bruises, or possibly any broken bones. I feel no pain. I look up the hole. To my surprise Ramona is laughing her head off. She says through giggles  “Oh, Saphire. Your so funny!” Then she stops laughing “Oh my gosh Saphire! Are you ok?” I smile up at her “No blood.” I say. Ramona is terrified of blood. She jumps down the hole feet first, and lands softly on the ground in front of me. “Thank goodness.” She says when she lands. She looks at me and says “Are you gonna use the wand or not?” She hands me the beautiful orange box. I open it, to reveal a rainbow colored wand with a tiny globe, and an ever color changing mouse in it. I do as I am told, and wave my wand excitedly at a dark empty corner. Three shiny blue sparks twirl out of the wand clumsily, but nothing happens. I look at the mouse in the globe. I can tell she is dazed. “You need to take the mouse out first!” Ramona scolds. She tapes the globe lightly. Then, in a burst of light the mouse appears in her hand. “Oh my gosh!” I scream. “Is she ok?” I point to the mouse, which has turned a greenish color, and looks dead! She hands it to me. Right as it touches my palm, it turns a bright blue. It seems to be quite alive now. She prances happily up my arm. “It’s a boy.” Ramona tells me excitedly. “How do you know?” I ask “Because.” She begins “The boys turn blue, if they like their owners. The girls turn purple.” “Why did he turn green when you held him?” I ask “Well,” She says, “When the animal hates someone it pretends to be dead.” “And turns green?” I ask “No.” She says, “That’s just your mouse’s weird personality.” “Stop it!” I say, “you’re hurting his feelings.” We both laugh. I scoop the mouse up from on top of my head, and hold it happily in my hands. It has now turned a dark black like any normal mouse. I still want to use my wand, so I wave it at another corner. “I want a blue sofa,” I think “with frilly white lace.” It appears before me. I jump onto it. “Its hard as a rock!” I tell Ramona. “Yoy.” She says grumpily. I still don’t get why she says that, but I keep my mouth shut.

CHAPTER 6 {Chip}

After hours of wand lessons, I sit on the now, soft sofa. Its more comfy than any couch I’ve ever sat on. Disfigured dolls, books, baskets and bottles surround me. Only some are perfectly normal. I get up. Ramona helps me organize the normal books onto a bookshelf. We put the disfigured ones into a shoebox. Ramona says, “When we are older, we will look back on this and laugh.” We finish organizing. I wave flower wallpaper onto the wall. “Come on.” Says Ramona. “Make the little bouncy surface.” I wave the wand under the hole. In a puff of fluffy white smoke it appears. It is a dark brown color. I wish it blue. “Bye.” Says Ramona, “It was really nice meeting you.” I nod sadly. She walks towards the blue surface, than turns around. “Wait,” She says, “What are you gonna name your mouse.” I look at the little black fur ball, who is zipping in, and out, and around furniture, that I had worked so hard to perfect. He stops to chew on a potato chip that had dropped during our occasional snack times during wand lessons. “Chip.” I blurt and as I say it I know it isn’t a mistake.

CHAPTER 7 {Just a dream?}

Ramona jumps onto the surface “I’ve got something I want to show you in the morning!” she says. Than she disappears up the hole. When she leaves, Chip stops running and chewing. He jumps onto my lace bed, squeaks a high-pitched squeak, and curls up into a ball on my pillow. I get into some silk pajamas, that Ramona has lent me. I climb into bed. The soft covers curve around me, and I instantly fall asleep.
 I’m sweating hard. Running, running, running through a dark cave. I can’t move any more, but something is forcing me to keep going! Visions of my parents dieing flash through my mind! I’m scared! “I WANT MY MOM!” I scream “I WANT MY DAD! I WANT MY SISTER!” Suddenly I’m back at the camp sight. My mom and my sister are dieing before me! “HELP!” Mom screams. I look at her helplessly. I can’t move! I start to cry. The next time I look up I’m in the woods. Dad is screaming, “RUN!” His voice echoes in my
 ears, as my eyes flutter open. Chip’s tiny claws dig into my face. I scoop him up. My face is red and my eyes are full of tears. I set Chip on the ground, and climb out of bed. Ramona shoots down the rabbit hole. “Morning!” She says cheerfully “I’ve got something to show you!” “Ok.” I say, as I get dressed.

CHAPTER 8   {Faraleena}

 Ramona pulls me over to her front door. “I’ve been aching to tell you ever since I met you!” She grabs my hand, jumps into the hole, and pulls me down with her. “Yoy!” she says as we hit the bouncy cushioned ground. Her home is colorful and ever inch of what should be wall, is ocean. “Wow.” I say “Never mind that!” she screams excitedly. She pulls me over to a door in the back of her house. The door is labeled “Faraleena.” She opens it. We walk into a jungle, covered in vines. Flower stems are everywhere but no full flowers. “Where are we?” I ask. “Faraleena’s bed,” she is interrupted by an ear bursting roar. A gigantic lizard like creacher crawls out of a crumple of huge trees. It has dark black scales witch change colors in the sunlight. It has huge pointy ears and large sunset eyes. Its features are big and strong. Large, pointy, green, dinosaur like plates grow from it’s back and lead down to its long tail. It snorts loudly. Smoke spirals from his nose, witch, by the way, is the size of a small couch. Ramona pats its nose “How do you like her?” she asks. All I can stammer is “D…D…Dragon!” “Yoy!” She says “A dragon indeed. This is Faraleena.”  I nod nervously. “Will it hurt me?” I ask “No way! She is too sweet.” Ramona says. She climbs up one of Faraleena’s legs, and squeezes herself between two of the plates. The dragon doesn’t seem to notice anything. Suddenly, Faraleena is in the air drifting through clouds silently. In a couple minutes they land soundlessly before me. “Get on.” Ramona says. I try to climb up Faraleena’s leg, but it’s too slippery. Suddenly I’m off the ground. The dragon is holding me! Faraleena drops me onto her back. I slide between two plaits. We are all of the sudden in the air. Soaring above miles of jungle and rivers. “Dose any body know about this?” I ask Ramona. “No,” she whispers guiltily “Please don’t tell any one.” I promise I wont, than ask,” Why can’t you have dragons?”  She just mutters, “They are just so misunderstood.” “How are they misunderstood?”  I ask. “Its all because of the Lug Droppers,” She begins. “Who?” I ask “The Lug Droppers,” she says, “They use dragons as their slaves. They also own these things they call Net Planes. They drop big robotic slugs from the planes. The slugs are programmed to find the key and lock to our home and destroy anything in its path.” “Well,” I ask, “where is the key and why do they want it any way.” “We don’t know where the key is,” says Ramona “The reason he wants the key, is because he wants to take over. 2 in a half years ago, a kind man named Master Creeden ruled this aria. I was 8, and his daughter, Alyssa, was my best friend. She was sweet, funny and brave…like you.” I smile and she pushes on “One night all of the sudden he turned evil and killed my best friend. We were forced to kick him out. He gained the name Lord Dark hart now he seeks revenge on us and will not stop in till he destroys our home. “He killed his daughter?” I ask “Yeah,” She says, “Something went wrong in his mind. Now, he has a whole lot of minions helping him meet his strongest goal.” I shudder. I feel my neck for my favorite necklace that my mom gave me at age 5. ITS NOT THERE! “MY NEACKLACE!” I moan. Ramona just looks at her feet guiltily. “YOU STOOL IT!” I scream at her as Faraleena lands on the ground softly. Ramona and I slide of the dragon “GIVE IT TO ME!” I demand. Finally she looks up “I can’t give it too you! The day Madam Saphira took you in, she saw it around your neck. It is the lock and key Creeden needs!” “I’m leavening this place!” I scream, “I have a real life you know!” “That’s not duabel.” She says softly “We only go into the place you would call, the real world every Wednesday.” “Fine!”  I scream, and as I say it I know it is the end of our friendship. I storm out of the room feeling like a prisoner. When I am finally in my soft warm bed I think it through. I just lost the closest thing I’ve ever had too a friend in my life. On top of that, my favorite position and best remembrance of my family is gone. I weep into my pillow. When my family was still alive, I had never cried in less I had to go to the ER. Things are different now. Chip licks my face with his eeney- weenie tong. I pat his head gratefully. Then fall asleep.

CHAPTER 9  {The great escape}

Finally, Wednesday. I’ve stayed confined in my home waiting for the big W-day to pop up. Madam Saphira’s loud voice says, “Everyone, please line up at the golden gate and wait for the doors too open” I hear this from my house. I have to admit it’s very hard for me to say good-bye to this home. Chip bounds into my pocket. I let him stay. He will be good company when I’ve run away. I bolt over to the bouncy pad, and jump. When I’ve hit the ground I run as fast as I can too the line that has formed in front of the golden gate. I make sure to stay away from Ramona, Who is hanging with Comfort. The doors open slowly. Then once it’s fully open, Kids, fairies, animals and more file out freely. I walk slowly. Finally I reach the gate. Madam Saphira stops me. “You are not leaving.” “Why not!” I ask, “I have my reasons.” She says as she pulls me out of the crowd. “Stay!” She orders “Stay inside the the golden gate.” I shift my weight as She goes to watch over the other people outside the gate. I can’t stay prisoner forever! I think. I search for anyone who is not out playing. No one is inside the gate except me. The next time I look through the bars of the gate everyone has disappeared. They probably went on a hike. No one too see me escape. I slip through the bars, carefully, and run. I dash behind a tree because of the murmuring of a machine. I hear the sound again, but this time its closer. I turn. Behind me are two, huge, robotic slugs. Before I can move, the things grow big arms and legs, grab me and through me into net. My screams are muffled as I get dragged away. My head hits one of the robot’s legs, and every thing turns black. The next thing I know I’m in a dome. My head is in a hat dash case, and I’m lying down on a metal bed. A tall man with blonde hair stands over me. A scare strikes across his lips. He smiles malevolently. “I’ll give you a choice,” he says in a crackey voice “Tell us where the key is, or we can take your memories. All I have to press a button, and your memories will be in my head.” His voice sounds familiar. “You killed my dad!” I blurt. He nods. “I did.” He smiles “I also may have played a little with your mom’s phone.” “WHY!” I scream. I burst into tears “Because,” he says over my wails “I need that key and lock. Many years ago I dated your mother,” I gasp. He keeps going “I gave her that key so she could visit me. She never did!” “I don’t blame her!” I scream through tears. He pushes on “When I got kicked out, well, I needed to find a way in too that little world. I figured, with your parents gone, it would be easy to capcher you, and I was right. So, what’s it gonna be. A brain wash, or you telling us.” “I wont speak!” I scream. He presses a button on a remote he is holding. I feel pain surge through me as my brain is washed away.

I zoom around parked cars on my new bike. My aunt and uncle are throwing a big celebration for my birthday and they want me out of the house when they setting up. They adopted me from my parents who strangely went missing last June. I was found in a forest along with a little black mouse witch is perched on my head right now. Down the road I see a girl fall off her bike. I zoom down too her “Are you ok?” I ask “Yoy.” She says as she gets up. She rides away. “I think I’ve heard that word before. Maybe from an old friend? Nee.” I say as I ride away.

THE END

I scroll the big letters across the big page. “Dad!” I yell, “I’ve finished my first novel!” “Great job Mally. Now come out side for smorse.” “Ok.” I answer. We are having a camping trip for my Mom’s birthday. I crawl out of the tent, and swing my baby sister, Ocean, around, she giggles. Suddenly the phone rings. Mom picks it up; “Hello?” she says, “Oh…Hello, did you order a ufo?”

CHAPTER 8   {Faraleena}

Large, pointy, green, dinosaur like plates grow from it’s back and lead down to its tail. “No,” she wispers guiltily “Please don’t tell any one.” I promise I wont, than ask ,“Why can’t you have dragons?”  she just mutters “they are just so misunderstood.” “How are they misunderstood?”  I ask. “Its all because of the Lug Droppers,” She begins. “Who?” I ask “The Lug Droppers,” she says “they own these things they call Net Planes. They drop big robotic slugs from the planes. The slugs are programmed to find the key and lock to our home and distroy anything in its path.” “Well,” I ask “where is the key and why do they want it any way.” “We don’t know where the key is,” says Ramona “The reason he wants the key, is because he wants to take over. 2 in a half years ago, a kind man named Master Creeden ruled this aria. I was 8, and his daughter, Allysa, was my best friend. She was sweet, funny and brave…like you.” I smile and she pushes on “One night all of the suddon he turned evil and killed my best friend. We were forced to kick him out. Now he seeks revenge on us and will not stop in till he destroys our home. “He killed his dauter?” I ask “Ya,” She says something went wrong in his mind. Now, he has a whole lot of minions helping him meet his strongest goal.” I shudder. I feel my neak for my favorite neaklace that my mom gave me at age 5. ITS NOT THERE! “MY NEACKLACE!” I moan. Ramona just looks at her feet guiltily. “YOU STOOL IT!” I scream at her as Faraleena lands on the ground softly. Ramona and I slide of the dragon “GIVE IT TO ME!” I dimand. Finaly she looks up “I can’t give it too you! The day Madam Saphira took you in, she saw it around your neak. It is the lock Creeden needs!” “I’m leaveing this place!” I scream “I have a real life you know!” “That’s not duabel.” She says softly “We only go into the place you would call, the real world every wensday.” “Fine!”  I scream, and as I say it I know it is the end of our friendship. I storm out of the room feeling like a prisoner. When I am finaly in my soft warm bed I think it through. I just lost the closest thing I’ve ever had too a friend in my life. On top of that, my favorite peseshon and best remembrance of my family is gone. I weep into my pillow. When my family was still alive, I had never cried in less I had to go to the ER. Things are different now. Chip licks my face with his eeney weeny tong. I pat his head gratefully. Then fall asleep.

CHAPTER 9 {my big escape}

Finally, Wensday. I’ve  stayed confined in my home waiting for the big W-day to pop up. Madam Saphira’s loud voice says, “Everyone, please line up at the golden gate and wait for the doors too open” I hear this from my house. I have to edmite its very hard for me to say good bye to this home. Chip bounds into my pocket. I let him stay. He will be good company when I’ve run away. I bolt over to the bouncie pad, and jump.When I’ve hit the ground I run as fast as I can too the line that has formed in front of the golden gate. I make sure to stay away from Ramona, Who is hanging with Comfort. The doors open slowly. Then once its fully open, Kids, faries, animals and more fille out freely. I walk slowly. Finaly I reach the gate. Madam Saphira stops me. “You are not leaving.” “Why not!” I ask “I have my reasons.” She says as she pulls me out of the crowd. “Stay!” She orders “Stay inside the the golden gate.” I shift my weight as She goes to watch over the other people outside the gate. I can’t stay prisoner forever! I think. I search for anyone who is not out playing. No one is inside the gate exept me. My head is in a hat dash case, and I’m laying down on a meatel bed . A tall man with blonde hair. A scare strikes across his lips. He smiles melevalently. “I’ll give you a choice,” he says in a crakey voice “Tell us where the key is, or we can take your memories. All I have to press a button, and your memories will be in my head.” His voice sounds formilier. I figured, with your parints gone, it would be easy to capture you, and I was right. So, whats it gonna be. A brain wash, or you telling us.” “I wont speak!” I scream. He presses a button on a remote he is holding. I feel pain surge through me as my brain is washed away.

Chapter 10 {THE END}
I zoom around parked cars on my new bike. My aunt and uncle are throwing a big celebration for my birthday and they want me out of the house when they setting up. They adopted me from my parents who strangly went missing last June. Down the road I see a girl fall off her bike. I zoom down too her “Are you ok?” I ask “Yoy.” She says as she gets up. She rides away. “I think I’ve heard those words before. Maybe from an old friend? Nee.” I say as I ride away.

THE END

I scroll the big letters across the big page. “Dad!” I yell “I’ve finished my first novel!” “Great job Mally. Now come out side for smorse.” “Ok.” I anser. We are having a camping trip for my Mom’s birthday. I crawl out of the tent, and swing my my baby sister, Ocean, around she giggles. Suddenly the phone rings. Mom picks it up, “Hello?” she says “Oh…Hello, did you order a ufo?”

THE END

Day 17: more about the mouse

“The boys turn blue, if they like their owners. The girls turn purple.” “Why did he turn green when you held him?” I ask “Well,” She says “when the animal hates someone it pretends to be dead.” “And turns green?” I ask “No.” She says “That’s just your mouse’s weird personality.” “Stop it!” I say “your hurting his feelings.” We both laugh. I scoop the mouse up from on top of my head, and hold it happily in my hands. It has now turned a dark black like any normal mouse. I still want to use my wand, so I wave it at another corner. I want a blue sofa.

Day 4: a new world

She nods and says, “What do you think about this?” She motions to the world around me. I also see two full grown giants, a baby giant, three huge robotic slugs, ten green Dachshunds, ten blue Dachshunds, an alien with fire coming out of him, and so much more. I notice there is only one other human besides me, Madam Saphira, Comfort, Kindness and Bell. She takes my hand and says, “There is a shop I really want you to see!” She stops in front of a hole at the foot of a tree. It sounds very boring, I know, but I’m not finished. On top of the stick is a tiny little globe. Inside the globe is a very small mouse that is changing colors every minute. I immediately I want it. “Well, I’m 10!” I scream happily. I hurry up to the counter. “I’m ten!” I tell the half man half woman at the counter. I hand the box to it. “I’ll get some money!” Ramona screams excitedly. She runs over to the bouncy pink surface. Jump up and down 5 times and some how shoots up through the rabbit hole. I jump in happily into the hole expecting a bouncy surface to cushion my fall but there is none. I fall butt first onto the beautiful comforting grass. That’s right, I said it. The ground of my home is big and grassy. I realize I have just fallen over 40 feet. I feel for scratches, bruises, or possibly any broken bones. I feel no pain. I look up the hole. Ramona is laughing her head off. Three shiny blue sparks twirl out of the wand clumsily. I look at the mouse in the globe. I can tell he is dazed. “How do you know?” I ask “Because.” She begins...

Day 3: the burial and Madame Saphira

I climbed down from the willow tree and this time I found a way to cry. I was almost all the way down when my precious necklace with a tiny key and lock. Got hooked on a tree. the branch beneeth me broke and I was left hanging. I new I was taking in my last moments. I could not breathe!

The next thing I new I was on a dark cloud. Dark clouds hung above, and lightning burst out of them, but no rain. I heard thunder and realized the thunder was speaking to me. It said "I'm more powerful then you! I'm smarter than you! I'm stronger then you." The voice did this over and over agin.

Finally I found myself back in the forest. I lay on the soft green grass. The branch I had been hanging on was on my face. It had boken off the tree. It was night time and I imagined I had been out for many hours. I went over to my dad. The men had gone by then. I cried a little. I was getting tired. I kissed dad on his nose. Grabbed his hand and fell a sleep beside him.

The next morning I woak to soft murmering . The first voice was unformiliar but the second  I did remember! HE HAD KILLED MY DAD! I ducked behind a thick green bush and wached three men pull away my now dead father. So now you know how I got behind this bush. Now that I know the men are gone I turn around and make a decision to visit my sister and my mom. Dad had worked hard to make big deep holes for Mom and Annabell to rest peacefully in. Dad had given me the honor to carve their tragic death stones. We were going to have a small surface for them after dad finished digging Annabell’s   grave.

I softly set  down Annabell into the hole, softly cover her, softly put her carved rock on her grave, and softly pray for her.

I stand up and murmur “My heart is broken… I have no one else to love.” “That is where you are wrong.” I whirl around. A tall women with a very large hoop skirt, that could fit over three tiny kids, stands before me. She has stunning white skin, her shiny brown is put tightly in a bun on the side of her head. Her voice is very strong  but, soothing too. She wares a thick black waist band. Tucked inside are three peacock feathers. All of her clothes look like they have been made out of beautiful fall leaves. “It is alright, she is safe.” The women says Three beautiful tiny girls come out from under her skirt. Other girls know this lady?

I suddenly am very mad and annoyed. For the few seconds I have known this lady I’ve taken a strong liking to her, and I don’t want her to love, like or even know anyone in the whole world except me. “This is Comfort”  she pointed to the red haired girl. “This is Believe” she pointed to the brown haired girl “and this is Kindness” she pointed to the blond headed girl. “We call Believe, Bell” that made me think of Annabell which made my eyes tear up. The girls are probably about four. They are all Identical besides their hair, and Comfort wares beautiful green glasses. They all ware spring like dresses made out of soft lime green cloth. Kindness speaks “We came to find you. Madam Saphira felt some one having troubles.” How dose she feel someone having troubles. Instead of saying that, I say “Who is Madam Saphira? The three girls point to the strange tall lady that I love so much. As they point I realize  I’m not mad that they know this lady anymore in fact, for some reason I want them to like her. My thoughts are interrupted by “Yes. I’m Madam Saphira” I smile and say “My name is Saphira too, but everyone, exept my mom, calls me Saphire.” Madam Saphira just smiles. “Well, we better get going.” She announces boldly. Comfort, Kindness and Bell, all crawl back under her skirt

“Come on Saphire.” She slightly lifts the boddom of her skirt to indicate I should crawl under. Not wanting to see the lady’s bare legs and underware, I say “I’d  rather walk, thank.” She smiles and says “you have to in order to get there. I’m sorry.” I crawl under, expecting to see nothing but darkness, legs and underware. But, instead I see a blond kitten, a brown kitten and a red kitten playing in a huge prarie thet looks like it goes on forever covered with blue and white flowers. Imidietly I know the kittens are Bell, Comfort and Kindness.

I look down at my hands to see if I am a kitten but I am still human. I desperately wish to be a kitten. The next time I look at my hands they are tiny fluffy brown kitten paws. Wait, since my hair is brown, I’m a brown kitten, but Bell is brown. I strongly wish for a black ear and feet. The next thing I know, my wish has come true. I bound across the lushes green grass towards the other kittens. When I get to them, they meow cheerfully. Apparently in this little world under a skirt we don’t have to speak because we can read each others minds.

“we are home.”

Then everything stops.

The three kittens turn them selves back into girls. I turn myself, back into my self again and ask “How do we get out? It seems the sky and the grass go on for ever.” “Just follow us.” Bell ansers. We walk half a mile and then suddenly I smack into something invisible. The girls giggle. “This way.” Comfort says. I had smacked into Madam Saphira’s skirt.  All the girls have to crawl under it in order to get back into the real world. “That was so fun!” I say to Madam Saphira.

Day 2: the crazies

Dad could tell I  stoped So he turned. ”come o……oh” Dad said the last word quietly “Sahpire!” “Yes Dad.” I said in a shaky voice “RUN!” He didn’t have to tell me twice! I bolted to the farthest tree away from the strang men.  I don’t even know what the men looked like. I climed  up a willow in till I could see the top of most of the other trees in the forest. I could faintly haer voices down below “For many days me and my pal have been waching you kill our animals for what you crazys call eats . Today I will make sure you never come back to our home agin” A gun shot, a loud wimper, a thump, and then and there I knew some where deep down in my hart that my dad was dead.
