Day 17: more about the mouse
“The boys turn blue, if
they like their owners. The girls turn purple.” “Why did he turn green when you
held him?” I ask “Well,” She says “when the animal hates someone it pretends to
be dead.” “And turns green?” I ask “No.” She says “That’s just your mouse’s
weird personality.” “Stop it!” I say “your hurting his feelings.” We both
laugh. I scoop the mouse up from on top of my head, and hold it happily in my
hands. It has now turned a dark black like any normal mouse. I still want to
use my wand, so I wave it at another corner. I want a blue sofa.
